No baby yet...

So, we waited all day yesterday and today to finally hear from the nephroligist that Shauna's kidneys could take the stress of another week or two in their current state. So the urgency to deliver the baby died down a bit and now we're back home. Sunday, they will stop the meds to stop labor and we'll see what happens. W00t! We're really excited to meet this little girl!!

Maybe a baby!

We're back in the hospital!! Shauna's kidneys took a turn for the worst again, so were back in the hospital. They are deciding weather to deliver or wait. Delivery seems like it will relieve pressure on her kidneys. The other options are a stint, or another nephrostemy tube, but both seem like a lot of work to delay a week or so. The baby is healthy and pretty much ready to come. More soon...

So my picture... I needed a glass of water, they had two choices, a tiny standard one, or this massive one. Holding this thing makes me feel like a 5 year old and it made me laugh, so I'm sharing.

Baby Shower

Our friends Kelli and Smash threw a wonderful baby shower for us on Saturday. It was going to be last weekend, but was delayed due to last weeks nasty snow storm. Almost everyone was still able to make it though. We had a really fun time. We played a couple of games; guess the baby food and guess how big Shauna's tummy is. Everyone was so generous, and everything we got was so cute.

Snow aftermath!

Here's the aftermath on Wednesday after the big storm. It's been a mess, luckily, we never lost power.

Labor!? And more SNOW!!

So, Shauna went into pre-term labor last night (Monday) and we ended up in the hospital this afternoon (Tuesday). Her contractions were starting to get pretty strong, but they decided to try and stop them with ta..(Hmmm... some drug). So, we're waiting to see if her contractions come back after the drug wears off. On another note, DC is expecting another 20 inches of snow tonight and tomorrow. Yay! The roads are a mess already, with more on the way.
